Anniversary trip to Freeport, ME this weekend. Nice place. Lots of little shops and eateries. Random thoughts and strange occurances from the weekend:
- Do not give the Hilton $25 extra dollars for their “shoppers package” which consisted of two bottles of water and a single page of coupons printed directly from the Freeport Merchants Association website.
- Had the host of the Azure Cafe silently stare at the seating chart for at least 3 minutes to decide where to seat us before deciding on the table 1.5 feet to his right. At the time, we were the only patrons in the restaurant. Food was awesome though.
- $12 martini’s always taste better when you haven’t had them in a long time.
